I just got done installing the Stromung exhaust I bought from JCGator. The install was very simple(took about 45 mins). The exhaust itself is awesome. All the welds and bends are first rate. On the car it doesnt look that much diffrent from factory. The sound is very deep and mean sounding. The car feels like it lost a little low end TQ, but will pull a harder wheel in the 1,2 shift and scrub a little into third. I am very impressed. Thanks to everyone who gave me advice on the exhaust.

They are a nice exhaust. Scott builds first rate systems. That was the hardest thing to convince people of when I first started this deal earlier this year. Everyone was put off by the price, but they didn't realize that they actually were nicer than your typical aftermarket exhaust.
The Sound is awesome. Whats neat is that the sound changes with temperature. When cold, it is very quiet, but as the muffler warms up, it gets deeper and louder. It gives the car a lot of character.
Part of the reason we chose the dual tip design is that it fit in very nicely with the car. At a glance, it doesn't look aftermarket...although the polished can does give it away. :)

You didn't have to convince me I had the money in hand and saying to the monitor were do I send it :) But When maxx put this together for us I did research on them and even went to a few Subaru boards and what not and started asking them thier opinions on the Stromungs,,and you know what?out of all the people I had asked initially about the exhaust,,,not one of them gave me a negative response on the Stromung,,,and I asked a good 15-20 people....So that's why I didn't mind the price at all...I've always lived by the theory "You get what you pay for"....

Stromung really did a excellent job making this exhaust. I was lucky in that I got mine used, but would in a heartbeat buy a new one. It a shame that such a beautiful piece is hidden under the car.

I already have a really nice 2.5" catback, but I would buy just the stromung muffler.

I love my stromung. I bought mine used too. Full catback. It's the best. I see alot of WRX's at AutoX with them on and they all love them.
