This is a pretty straight forward question.........Is the intake cam from a 97 fwd DET the same as or better than the intake cam from a 91-93 SE-R. Thanks.

Im currently running a DET (BB) Intake cam in my 96. I noticed a nice increase at about 4,000rpm and above. Its supposedly the same cam in the 91-93 motors.

The cams from a 96 Det are the same size as a 94 sentra. Only early 89-93 Det cams are the same as the 91-93 sentra. I always check cams as I pull them out of motors if they are not 91-93 size or larger I toss them.
