I saw a Nx 1600 for sale, Is it still a good car or the motor is not enough strong?

If you can find an NX2000, get that instead. I read in Turbo magazine a while back that the Toyota 3GTE (I think that's the code) and the SR20DE are the strongest stock engines in the world! SR's can take sometimes more than 400 hp to a stock bottom end!

the 1600 has the GA16DE engine, its has much less hores power 110 hp 108lb-ft. its also looks less sporty, smaller brakes. few more things too but cant remember off the top of my head

I actually own a 3sgte and Sr20de so i got the best of both worlds. But i really think another motor that needs to be added to this is the DSM 4g63 motor it takes a hell of a beating.

I have an NX1600. Wait for an NX2000 cause you get the bigger engine, the bigger brakes, and the stock body kit. Theres alot more differences such as sway bars, rims, etc. but most of these I've swapped out for aftermarket anyways. However, these differences add up to more than the price differential between the two. I'm not fixing up my engine anymore as I've found its not worth it compared to swapping in an SE-R engine anyways.

You should drive to Toronto to pick up an NX2000. If you check Trader.ca, there are about 4 of them for sale right now, all for around $3500 CDN or so.

Thats what I do,I dont bought it in Ontario,but near.I bought it in Gatineau for 4000$ and shes in perfect condition!!!If I had bought it in montréal I will had paid like 5500-6000$...

I searched for NX, and got three hits in Québec, but unfortunately they were all NX1600s :(

Lets put it this way, you will be much happier with the nx2000 overall...in every possible aspect.....lets just say taht the first time i saw an nx1600 in canary yellow, i almost fell over and had a coronary...not a pretty picture....hook up an nx2k and you will be very happy. Cant find one in ur area??? If u want one badly enough like i did, you will drive anywhere to get it. :D

haha!! Sorry man, im not trying to cut on your car, im sure ur ride looks pretty tight, but the one i saw was just atrocious...it had some of the wheel covers missing and everything. As a matter of fact, the nx1600 is still in the 8's when it comes to 0-60...i think its like 8.5 or something like that. So, its not too shabby. :D
