I am just curious to know what they sound like. I dont think ive seen any videos of externally equipped SR's. just wondering if anyone has vids or sound clips. thanks

Sorry, don't have a soundclip, but it almost sounds like the motor jumps another 700rpm while holding boost. First time I hit it I let off cause I thought my clutch started slipping. It is a scary sound though!

I know how they sound. Ive had one an MR2 I used to own. I just want to hear one on an sr. There has to be at least one soundclip or vid that someone has.

Why would it be any different than your MR-2?

Mine is external, TiAL 35mm. and it is plumbed back into the downpipe, I cant even hear it when it opens, there are a lot of other noises happening when I am in the boost.
When it wasnt plumbed into the down pipe, it used to be incredibly annoying and loud as hell, it sounded like a giant exhaust leak all of the sudden opening.. oh wait, thats what it is!

Seemed like the actual exhaust on mr2 was too short. So car was loud. Wastegate just didnt sound the same as say....a dsm or a civic.
