OK snail peeps assist me to get my wheel spinner back up and running. I'm afraid to drive it now because I have allot of oil coming out of my intake piping. :( It's coming from the outlet side of the intercooler, from a coupling just before it heads to the TB. What's my next step???? How do I check the snail for a bad seal? Or is this normal? The car is not smoking and it seems to have it's turmac ripping power. Although now my wideband 02 is not working properly and my brake light is on. But that could be due to me spilling antifreeze on the 02 WB wiring and the alt. If you guys have any ideas let me know ASAP so I know what to look for when I start pulling this thing apart. Thanks in Advance. GTIRoids

If you have a lot of oil coming out of the piping, either your turbo seal is blown or the oil drain tube is not draining properly, either way it may need rebuild.......damm strong arm

It doesn't neccesarily mean a bad seal. You could just be drawing alot of crank case oil into the turbo inlet. How do you have your catch can setup Joel, stock or aftermarket?

I dont think his catch can is routed back to the intake

im getting some oil in my tubing too but i know its from blowby...
does an aftermarket catch can really work that much better than the stock oil separator? i got a catch can should i run it and the stock oil separator?

The stock seperator does a great job if you follow HotshtSR20s directions on how to reroute it.

EDIT: nj20de did a great write up on it in the Technical Information Library, http://www.sr20forum.com/showthread.php?t=80048 .

OOpps! Sorry guys false alarm. It actually was my IC piping hitting my break line and broke and the oil sprayed on the piping and ran down to the coupler. sorry to alarm everyone. Thanks for the quick help though :biggthump
