okay i accidently put a full tank of 87 octane in my sr20ve when i was suppose to put 91...and knowingly the knock sensor was going to detect this... and the code showed up... i just let it do its thing and let it retard 10 degrees ( mines is set at 15) i drained and empty the tanks for driving for about a week and put full tank of 91 octane back in the car....i reset my ecu to get rid of the CEL but that didnt work... I got it diagnos by a scanner and BAM! CEL for code 0304 or p0305 still shows up... how do i get rid of this, do i re time my car... or did i mess up my knock sensor... :confused:

What about some octane booster? Or what if you drive easy until that tank is empty?
