Well I did a short search to see if this has maybe been pointed out and didnt get anything back. I called to order this bumper cover today and was told that it will not fit perfectly on the nx. Reason being is when the mold was made, it was made on an nx that had frame damage so the bumper cover is a little twisted. I just thought I would warn you guys before you order.

Yeah, Witt already ordered one of those and had it on his old NX for awhile. He had to go through a lot of work to try and make it fit right.

They have removed that feature from sigs, so everyone needs to remove their image URL's from their sigs!

It came down to content, and some other issues I think....there is a thread about it in the forum/server info section.

IMG code within a post is still working of course...

I notice that you have the window trim taped up. They do come out you know. I just took all of mine off to repaint them. That would make the paint job a lot easier. Also, paint the car with the T Tops off so you can get in the T Top jambs.
......or it could just be my eyes fooling me.

is the trim just held in with double sided tape? I am in the process of primering my car before painting and that would make it alot easier. I should have the car fully painted in about 3 weeks, I will post pics but I am sure that there will not be many people that like what I am doing to my nx.....but hey it will be different. :biggthump

i read prior that you broke your tabs that hold it on, and you was having
somewhat of a trouble finding new tabs....something along those lines..

i may be mistaken White, i think i read something along those lines!

My trim is very VERY beat up, its dry, and cracked in many places....

i really dont want to take it off because it will probably fall apart
and crumble upon removal....

if there is an easy way to remove and install the trim, please drop me a tip!

Where did you get the bumper from i am interested in getting one. how much work is need to make it fit. and how much it cost?

i paid 273 plus 100 shipping for mine, it was discounted because fitment wasn't gauranteed. I dunno if he still plans to sell them or what not. U can see how it looked on my car if u click link in my sig

the carmate one also had that flaw.... the passenger sides droops a little. it seems as if this is the case as well, since more than likely that bumper was copied off the carmate bumper skin and then modified for turn signals and what not.... i dint have too muc trouble making mine fit, the body shop was easily able to finish off what i started. I hate body work!!! :)

Ummm --- speaking of tools, what's with companys making body parts molded on damaged cars anyway? Its not like NX's are so rare that an example in decent condition couldn't be found to freakin manufacture a product on... that's just weird, IMO.

fxdesigns.com is the site that has the bumper I posted the pic of. I am not sure about how much trouble it is. As far as price, they have the bumper set at $325 I think maybe a little bit more + $100 shipping.

It may just be me, but it does look a little off...

yeah I am, as well as rixing my rockers fenders and a few other paint issues... I was thinking about doing a integra front end, they look alright.. but I do like the looks of this bumper....

The car will end up being yellow with a white pearl
