Hey I am new to the site. Im stoked I found it though. I drive a 96 200 sx sr20det. I tried to get fluidyne to make a radiator for the 200sx and they said no because they dont have enough people that want it. It upsets me because I need it to help get my car in the 11's. The det motor runs hot and the stock ser radiator dosnt cut it. If we were to get enough 200sx drivers to want one then they would make an application for our cars. They only cost about $400.00 which is cheap. Just got to get them to make it.

i am up for a purchasing a bigger radiator also. add me to the list if you get one together. but also remember the det coolant sensor requires a certain resistor to comply with the gauge. i know my gauge seems like it runs hot but in actuallity it is just the gauge because it dosen't have the right resistor.

I wasnt awear that nismo made a radiator for the 200sx, Do they?
It should only take about 10 people to get them to make the application, which isnt much at all. Dont worry I will hownd them

this is an excerpt from an article done by SCC:
"To help dissipate the heat produced by the turbo and the attendant increases in power, a high-capacity radiator from Nissan Motorsports was installed. A bolt-on piece that is standard on the Japan-market Pulsar GTi-R, the Motorsports radiator has more than 30 percent more cooling capacity."

here's the link to the article on ser.net (http://www.sr20de.net/about/200sx/scc/feb99/).
that paragragh is about half way down.

Hey thanks for the info on the radiator, I will check it out. I would still like to get Fluidyne to make one for the 200sx though. About how much is the Nissan Motorsports one.

I bought a Nismo radiator to be ready for my DET swap in the future. Visually it looks almost exactly the same as the stock one (except it's newer, of course). I got it from www.nismoparts.com for about $275. Does it acutally have 30% better cooling efficiency? Who knows. I know I don't. But I'll take their word for it.
