Well guys I threw a rod out my BB block. Do you guys know the reason why that happen. I was looking at the Rod and it is scorched were it connects the the crack. Does anyone know?

One more thing.. I am getting another BB motor Just wanted to know what i can do to provent it this time.

it sounds like you spun a bearing and just let it go. you can replace the bearings before you put your new motor in next time. I have heard of this happening before (spun rods in somewhat new motor) and this is where it connects to the crank correct? or crack :)

Yup that is right.... Brain I call you yesterday about the bearings. I am just going to replace the Oil pump and rod bearings when I get the motor next week. I just hope this wont happen again. I will be taking a pix od the rod tonight and post it.
