Any folks in the Omaha area look in here? I started taking an interest (beyond simple trasportation) in my '96 SE-R when the weld between my exhaust manifold and secondary cracked. I put in a Hotshot header and suddenly needed a g20 ecu because my car pulls pretty quick to the rev limiter. Anyway, I'm trying to build up my 'lil baby now. I can read, I can turn a wrench, but I haven't got much experience working on cars. I'd kinda like to hang out with some folks who do - particularly Nissan folks. Let me know if folks are getting together to work - or play.

Yep. Me. I'm in Omaha, NE and have been into SR20 motors (fwd) for about 3-4 years now. I had a ready to be turboed G20 with a couple mods, and a JDM DE motor dropped into it. But I traded that car for another G20, that I have now.
There are actually quite a few FWD SR20 owners. I know 2 chicks, both lil hotties. But they both got boyfriends. :( (skill kool chicks though).
As well as a whole slew of SR20 people.
An 4 240sx's with RB motor swaps in them. All in Omaha, NE. (RB motor series is from the skyline family).
Have you advanced your timing on your car yet? If not. Do it. If you want help. I have a timing gun and light and we can do it.
Might want to IM me on AIM- Battle680. Or PM me. Cause I dont' get on this board much. Cause I traded my 'project car'.
So right now i'm just focusing on making money, and finishing college.

I make it to Sioux falls once each summer on my way to a family vacation in MN.
Currently shopping for a house and involved in a pretty important project at work so I won't be doing anything with my car for 6-8 weeks.
I'll check back in then.
