Well My car is a 92 SE-R with a T25 turbo setup with S4 cams and a JWT ECU...all week it runs fine all the way too 7.8k and I get to the track and It won't go past about 6.2k its like hitting a brick wall....Is it because I'm not running an 02 Sensor? its getting the fuel reading from the idle.....and the 02 sensor isn't there to help it out in the rev range or something? the plug gap is at .028 This is the oddest thing. I don't understand at all whats wrong with my car I really need some help. On the way home it gradually went from 6.2k to 6.5k...then too 7.2k Its really weird and I need some help thanks could it be my plug wires? are they good somtimes and sometimes there not? very odd

I have the same problem as you too but my revs stop at 5.5k...this happens when im revving in neutral and driving at 9psi...i can get it to go higher if i were to play with the throttle but in any case at 15psi it runs fine with a pop at like 6.5k. It never happened until i got the fuel pump and when i lower the gas with the AFC, some of the popping goes away.

u could check ur coil wire mines was loose and didnt rev past 6k than stuttered....

What mine does at about 6.2k is it goes from about 7 psi all the way to 10 pounds vacuum instantly...its very odd

Another thing mine does not stutter at all its like it gets stuck

So does mine it just stays at 5.5k even idling it wont rev...its like a wall and just bounces off at that rev but at 15 psi it goes all the way...i personally think its runnning rich still and turned it down...through out the its turned down 15% across the board through an afc.
