If i was to take of my engine coil (where it says 1.6/2.0 engine) to paint it, will i be risking a leak in my oil?

See how the cover is Black.. That is what i want to get painted but i am woundering if there is a risk in leaking the oil that is under it.

the valve cover? just pick up a gasket set. they are like 15 bucks but if i were you i would get that powder coated instead.

Is that your pic or someone else's? I'm having a hard time believing that the owner of that setup doesn't know the difference between a coil and a VC.

if u don't know the diff between the two than u don't need to be doin any mods u might forget were it came from and from the sound of things u sherly don't know what the name of the part would be
