Well I blew my engine last week and now searching for a quick way to get my car back on the road, I will most likely be getting a JDM SR20 from SOKO and was wondering what I need to do to get it running, I know I need to swap the intake and exhaust mainfolds out, the main things I need to know are, is the wiring all the same, does my ECU need to be reconfigured? Also I was wondering if anyone has a JDM SR20DE in their 200SX, how do you like it? Does it feel faster than stock, any other problems, I ask because even though I love my 200 I am thinking of selling her and buying a NX2K and using the rest of the money to pay off debt. I have a wedding comming up that I am going to need plenty of extra cash for and if I were out of debt it goes without saying that it will be much easier to save up for a good wedding / honeymoon.

Hey Dan I don't own a 200sx. I did the swap into my Classic and honestly in my case I noticed a pretty big difference in power and speed. From what I know it all wires up the same. Yes you do have to swap manifolds due to all the EGR stuff.
Hey goodluck with the wedding!:D I am also in the process of planning a wedding. Aint that shit expensive like a MOFO! My date is July 27,2002. Goodluck bro!

Although, I was not there for the actual swap part (I was out shooting some deer). The two friends that did it had absolutely no experience with an SR. One of my friends is a very good auto tech at a smallershop and the other swapped a 3SGTE into his 94 Celica, but they both said it was the smoothest swap they have ever done. We scrapped the EGR and AIV crap too. But if you have to keep the manifolds it'll bolt right up. Just ask a couple friends for some help. It took two pretty knowledgable car guys 12 total hours. Have fun...:)
