2.)will a t28 turbo fit onto a bluebird manifold?

3.) will a 3" downpipe fit onto a bluebird motor with a t28 turbo?

Hotshot now makes a front-mount kit for bluebird swaps; includes a 3" downpipe after the elbow.

The T28 does not fit onto the Bluebird Manifold. You need to get the GTIR Manifold for the T28.

I didn't realize the HotShot Kit came with a 3" downpipe. It's weird that it would come with a 3" when their full turbo kit comes with a 2.5" downpipe. But that is cool, though it is probably a very tight fit. Is it available for sale yet?

Its possible because the BB turbo is smaller, in a different position, and uses the stock (very sharp, small bend) turbine elbow that makes a tight 90 degree bend right out of the turbine to clear factory AC. at the flange, the downpipe is 3 inches. The HS turbo kit uses a 2.5" downpipe to clear the factory AC in the same fashion as the BB cast turbine elbow. The BB kit is for sale.

In other news, there will soon be a new HS turbo kit using a t3/to4e. It should have a 3" downpipe off the turbine and a larger intercooler.

The 3" downpipe is an option for the Hotshot kit. It is currently available.

Right, as long as you don't have AC. a 3" downpipe off the turbine won't clear the AC compressor.

Ok, I have a question. I have a 91 SE-R with a bb swap. I am running the t25 but I have a massaged gtir t28 that I will be putting in. My question is can one use the same downpipe on a t28 as used on a t25? I have a 2.5" now but would like to upgrade to a 3" when I get a 3" exhaust/cat/testpipe. I will be getting the exhaust before I switch manifolds/turbos.

Well thats kinda an exageration but it is really small :) It looks like it would be more restrictive than a factory system.
