I was just curious what people had payed for their SE-Rs? And how much do you think you have spent on mods?

I think we paid $8000 for our 93 NX2000 in 98 with 46,000 miles. It had a warranty until 96,000 which we got our money's worth out of. Unfortunately since it expired I've put about $1000 into repairs. I've paid about $600 in performance and appearance mods.

spend 5k on the car about 5 months ago...and as far as the mods go....i've just been piecing things together for the turbo...so far i have about 300 in gagues and turbo timer....no to mention the nice stereo :D

I must say that I never seen a blue NX. That is one of the nicest looking NX2000's I have seen. Where are all of these NX's coming from. They all look so clean and most of them have under a 100k. Hook me up with the deals that you guys are gettin. I want one!!!

IIRC, $14,500+ freight brand spankin' new (+/- three miles on the odo).

About $1000 on mods since then: $tillen $TB, Yoko AVS's, KYB AGX's, drilled front Brembos, pads and stainless brake lines. Motor stock but the grille Dan is sending me will add at least 15HP.

I paid about 10K for mine back in April. kjopi -sleeper- you got yours for only 5K!?!? That is pretty good kinda makes me scared though I am thinking I got ripped off and won't be able to sell the thing for squat. Oh well maybe I can still get enough out of it for an NX2K plus some left over to pay off bills. (This engine is not going to help the bill situation :( )

last fall 6400.00 after trade with 28,000 miles, traded a 93 escort wagon
mods so far= more than what i paid for the car

I paid $7000 for mine two years ago with a little under 39,000 miles. It was perfect, form a retired guy with all the paperwork.:)

16,500 brand new.
~$550 in mods: CAI, battery relocation, flywheel still in box.

i sold myself my SEL for the unheard of price of $14,000 AFTER tax title and license in san diego. i've spent around $4000 in mods.

ya, around 16, 500 new and waaaaay too much invested. alot of stuff I have put on and taken off, so my mod list is only 1/2 of what I had done to the car. at one time I had over 4k invested in the stereo :cool:

I got my SE-R for free, I inherited it as my wife Stole:D my 2.5RS to get a WRX.

Mods and money lets see
$900=suspension (would have been $1500 with labor)
$200=over all car tune up
$400=exhaust from cat back(i know i got robbed on that but had no choice)
$250=tires

3weeks of time so far on various do it your self projects=Priceless since i don't have to clean the house. :D :cool: I just say sure i will clean if you will fix the car.hehehehehe

Overall, beating many winged-out, wanna be street racers including imports and domestics with a pos looking lowered rust bucket VERY PRICELESS.

I just love the fact that throwing in a $4000+ turbo kit, plus maybe motivational suspension setup $1300+ and I am still cheaper than most cars new. And it kicks ass!

$8,000 w/ 48,000 miles..on a side note, the place was asking 10,200...:D
