Did the NX ever require the driver to depress the clutch before starting the engine? My '92 lets me just turn the key and go, but I bought it used so the previous owner may have changed something.

Many cars can start if you put it in neutral an just start the car without pressing the clutch.

Séb thanks for the suggestion. Where do you get your performance parts from?

There should be a push button on the firewall that the clutch touches when you press the clutch in. The other owner may have cut the wires and connected them.

On my 91, the clutch has to be in when I start, drives my friend nuts every time he drives it, cause his RX-7 he just leaves in neutral.
