Yes certain MAFs are limited in hp. The MAF that most of the guys use is the 300ZX TT MAF or a Cobra MAF.

The stock MAF will go to about 250whp.

That is true. Which MAFS you'll want to run is dependant on how much you want to boost. Common upgrades are the 300ZX TT MAFS (80mm), the Mustang Cobra MAFS (80mm), and the Q45 MAFS (90mm). The Q45 is really the way to go because it's the largest and its sensor gives the ECU the most dynamic reading. Also, remember that you will need to have an ECU programmed for the MAFS that you get.

Definitely.

FYI for when you do upgrade: You may already know, but in case you don't, Q45 MAF sensors have been selling on eBay for $90-$110 on average which is a great deal.........
