There's one in the paper here:
1988 Nissan 200 SX complete car $75 219-984-5586
If there is little/no body damage and the frame is straight, does this sound like a good SR20DET high hp swap contender?

Ben;
Any RWD car can be a decent drag car project. Depends, of course, on how much money you want to spend...
IF you want to make a low buck-ish renegade drag car (not going by any specific NIRA or NHRA class rules), then sure, the 200SX S12 would do fine: Just put a bullet-proof Ford 9-inch rear in it (narrowed, of course) with back-half frame rails, along with the DET and tranny. Tear the interior out and turn the boost up. That's what I'd do...
IF you're looking for a class-specific car, then I don't know what to tell you about the strength of the stock rearend of the S12s.
This reply probably didn't help you much, but it's my $.02

(Edit: It's S12, Perry, not B12. Sheesh.)

Just my $.02, you would want to stay away from the 200SX SE versions with the V6, there are'nt alot of replacement parts around for the rear end (to my knowledge and experience that is).
Although, having an 87 200SX SE as my first car makes me want to have another on for old times sake!
