ok so today im crusin up to my grandfathers shop, about 20 or 30 miles away. I get there and i notice a bunch of water overflowing onto the ground. i pop my hood and theres water all over. he thinks its a blown headgasket so we unplug the distributor and take off the radiator cap and crank the motor over and a bunch of bubbles start coming up. we hook the distributor back up and rev it a few times and the radiator fluid shoots like 6 inches out. He says that i either cracked my block or blew the headgasket. im pissed because i have alot of work to do on my car and this just adds to my list. ive been driving my car still, i just check the radiator fluid everytime befor i drive anywhere and i keep it filled up accelerate as slow as possible. I was suprised when this happend because the sr20 is a strong ass motor, but lately i *** got my car back on the road and ive been driving it pretty hard most of the time but still i wouldnt have thought id blow the head gasket. so now im comtimplating just saving my money for a det because ive been wanting one. ****** i thought id share my problem and i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. im also pissed be cause one of my buddies just swapped a new motor in his hatch and he thinks hes hot shit so i was just waiting to race him and put it to shame, but now the poor se-r has to take it slow until i have the time to fix it :(

well im having the same problems just not as bad i think.Antifreeze does shoot out when im revving hard all the way and my autometer gauge jumps from like 150 to 220 in seconds and my stock gauge moves to H. I've been told it might be air in the system or a leak in the headgasket which causes air to be thrown in to the cooling system. My best guess is the headgasket and i plan on pulling the stock de and replace with a new ve while i dismantle the de .
