You know, those tapered end nuts that you use with pillowball mounts, GC camber kits, etc. that center the strut rod in the bearing. Where can you buy those? I need some with a 1.5 thread pitch, and the ones used by GC and Shigspeed are 1.25 pitch. Gc says they machine an off the shelf nut to taper them but I'm hoping I can find some already done. I suppose a person could try using an open ended lug nut as long as it were the right diameter and thread pitch. Thanks.

Back in the day, the datsun lug nuts are all M12x1.25, modern cars are mostly M12x1.5 ....or do you need 10mm diameter nuts?

I'm not sure, they're go tto thread onto the strut rods, so I think they're smaller than M12, probably M10.

Tapered nuts... used to get mine from riding a racing bike, small pointy little seats.
Peace,

Good one Mark. :) Apparently the easiest thing to do is just use lug nuts. Thanks again Scott!

I got mine from Shigspeed for my ShockTek strut setup. He said they were lug nuts, not sure were he gets them at though.

Yeah he offered to sell me some but I'd rather get them locally so I can use them asap, plus I found them on the net for $.39 each. I'm sure I'll pay more than that locally but I don't mind, I just need them soon.
