What do you guys have in that empty slot under your aftermarket stereo? I found a cd tray that is made for it, I think. What else do you guys have in there?

looks cool, that should work with any single din radio with a double din slot as well. good find b/c the factory slot is too small to put a cd case in there, and I don't really enjoy my cd's being scratched by stacking them on top of eachother.

I will soon have a boost gauge, analogue clock, and a oil pressure gauge.

Why the clock you ask? I have a 99 g20 and it doesn't have an analogue clock like all the other infiniti's so I am putting one in. Anyone who gets in my car always asks "where's the infiniti clock".

It was originally a hole for an optional CD player. (so you could have tape and CD)

If you can find the mounting brackets from that optional CD player, you can mount any single Din unit in there.

My OEM Nissan/Sony CD player is still going, and it's almost 13 years old!

That non-USDM cubbyhole bin with lid Ian Lyn posted a while back was pretty cool.
