Thats right I purchased a VE yesterday from Mr Low. I needed a kick in the pants and I wasn't going to do turbo after swapping engines last spring. I have one question: Should I get the JWT ecu or get the HS header? I have a OBX header right now and was planning on using the VE ecu. Anyways, very excited to pump alittle life into this car! I can't wait!

Get the ECU...it will improve your experience more while you save for a header

i second that, the jwt ecu and the msd switches is what you need to run the ve properly(easiest way).you can run the obx header also

cool, i'll probably call up JGY and see if I can get one from them asap. Otherwise I'll run the VE ecu w/ msd switches till then. Should I get the Regular msd box, or go with the digital box?

YEP! i got it for alittle under $1600 and I get the alty and ps pump and starter which I need considering mine have 160k on them. Larry was a great to talk to, we had a good conversation. Overall I can't wait, I'm probably going to have rent a Propane heater as well because it got friggin cold here, but I want it in!

May I suggest you use the Greddy MSS to control your big cam lobe activation points...It's been proved very user friendly and looks cool too!lol

May I suggest that you use the DE ECU (7500rpm, instead of 7200) and no speed limiter.

Then use the MSD switches. (Or greddy MSS or whatever you want).

Then, buy a bigass jacket and save money from the propane heater. Get that sucker in your car!

Anyhow, glad you're happy with it! Larry's a great guy. Too bad he rides a van nowadays..

Don't use the DE ECU.
