Gidday, A newby but an' oldy. Live near Ipswich in godzone, that is South East Queensland.
Not into Nissan cars as such, nothing against them infact the old 1600 from the seventies was and is a jem.
In the near future I will be building a normaly asperated SR with a S14 Toyota supercharger and intercooler. Why ? I still do a bit of racing in a Lotus Cortina and am presently building a historic sports Sedan for club use, initally it will by powered by the Twin Cam for the Corty (160HP) and later in 05 by the SR. Why a puffer ?, I saw one in a clubman at Speed on Tweed this year and it was pure torque, clutch out at 2000RPM then flooring it,it shot up the hill like a cat with turps on its bum. That's what I want, raw torque and from idle. The clubby ran just over 200HP with a dead flat torque curve and is other wise totally untouched.
Always on for a yarn.
See ya, Les
