unless you buy used equipment, 300 dollars probably wont get you more than walmart brand stuff. Especially if you want 2 subs. You could get an ok amp for 300, and ok subs for another 200. You might find some nice used stuff from a forum member.

If you're looking for some real quality sound $300 won't cut it. You're best bet is to go used like sr20deman said or save up more money. In BestBuy you can get a somewhat decent Sony Xplod combo for about that price or a tad bit more(Not a fan of Sony). My opinion, save it up for something better. A Rockford Fosgate amp big enough to power a Kicker Solobaric L7 12" would sound great. That combo can run you about $600. Thats the route I took and was very pleased.

For 300 bucks you can have a very nice system if all you need is an amp and 1sub. Do you really need 2? You can get a 10" type r(unbeatable woofer for price) for 120 shipped. The extra 180 buck will get you a nice 600-800 watt amp. Or a Pioneer Premier 3004spl $100 on ebay. PM me I have a 5 channel that would be perfect. Directed(same as orion)125x4 sub channel 600x1. I also can get Oz Audio Matrix Elite 12" In your price range.
dont buy amplifiers off ebay. they fu*king suck. i bought a 1500 watt one for like 60 bucks. the biggest peice of sh*t i have ever seen. if you want something done right, its gonna cost you money.

When did ebay start selling only ebay brand amp scott? And why the hell did you buy a $60 "1500 watt amp thinking it was gonna bang out?
ok the cheapest way to do stuff is to order off of e bay but dont be stupid adn if its a 1500 watt amp for 60 bucks its going to suck i have a 750 watt amp thats a sony xplod and it pushes pretty good and for a good deal on subs go with kenwood 12 inchers u should be pretty good and under 300 for just equipment with 2 12 kenwoods adn a good higher powered 700 or so watt amp u really dont need that much power to get bomming sound my buddy had 2 10 inch x plods adn a 480watt amp an i couls hear him about a mile away
