WOW, this is my first offical post in the Audio section ever! Ok well Im not all into car audio. most of my cars don't even have radios. But In my daily driver 1999 Sentra SEL When i baught the car it came with an aftermarket radio. It took a crap on me so i went out and baught this Alpine unit. I picked it up Brand New for $240. with a discount beacuse one of my friends is a manager at Best Buy. I know alot of you guys in this section of the forum knows alot about this stuff so i fugured i'd ask whats your opinion on it? Was it worth it for what i paid? here is a link off ebay with the same unit and its features. the 2 reasons why It drew my attention was the Bluetooth & Ipod capabilites.
definatly a nice headunit man... I had the same one in my black 200 and it was awesome. The bluetooth adapter was expensive, but worth it if you have a bluetooth phone and find yourself talking while driving a lot... the ipod adapter is a cool feature too because you can control the ipod right from the headunit... $240 is a good deal... overall I'd say that is the best hu I have ever had...

I'm still running my good ol' Alpine 7995 im my 200sx. I've got the XM tuner for it, but just have not hooked it up yet. Bluetooth capability is a very nice thing to have if your phone has that technology. Makes conversations so convenient, it's sick.

Alpine units are pretty good. The bluetooth adapter for the Alpine unit is not that great from my experience. You can also check the reviews for it from Crutchfield.
