I know you get what you pay for. Not everyone can afford the really good stuff! I'm also hesitant to spend big money on a system for fear that someone steals it.

Kenwood Head Unit- Not sure what model
Kenwood 1700RMS watt MONO amp
Two 12w3v2d4 JL Audio 12 Inch subwoofers
Six- 6 1/2 inch JL audio Speakers with 150/6 powering it
1.5 Fared Cap
Ported Box
Hitting about 145 dB
And you can still hear the music clearly with all the base because of the good 6 1/2 inch speakers

Umm the total price was like well

400 for the kenwood amp
345 for the clarion amp
100 bucks for wiring
500 in subwoofers
300 in 6 1/2 in jls
140 for the power cap
120 for the ported box
310 for the head unit
40 for the battery terminal
500 in dynamat

so that comes to $2755.00 of stuff
Plus the tax and stupid little sh*t
But its worth it cause you can hear me coming from about 2 1/2 miles on a clear day.

check out my car domain link in my signature below. it shows most of the stuff. some stuff i didnt show. like the 6 1/2s *** there in the doors and rear. and the clarion is mounted under the dash so it was hard to take pics of so i didnt

i know many people who have saved their systems by useing alen heads or torx screws instead of normal screws. theifes see them and say "screw that" and move on. its pretty effective, but not all the time. also, dont get speakers with crazy grill designs, no stickers, and dont play you system loud when you pull up to your house or parking lots.

95 200SX
Deck: Kenwood MPV-6022 ($139 new in 2002)
Front: Kenwood Comp 6.5" 225w max forget the exact model ($200 from a friend)
Rear: Kenwood comp 6x9" 275w max forget the exact model (also $200 from a friend) (Dremel tool FTW!)
4ch. oldschool 200w x 4 RMS directed amp, forget model, but it's old as hell, and powerfull ($60 from a friend)
Trunk: Rockford Fosgate 301m amp ($99 on ebay)
Trunk: Rockford Fosgate Punch P2 10" in Qlogic sealed enclosure (2004 model, $99 with enclosure on ebay)

Noname (think it's like typhoon or some crap) 1.5f capacitor (battery drain while driving FTMFL.) (free)
Sounds absolutely amazing in the car. Not so loud as to distract drivers in the vicinity. I'm not about waking up neighbors from 500ft away, but could if I felt like it.

I had a 10band equalizer, but it fried on me, so I'm looking for another one. (Might go kenwood, why not? )

Front: Infinity 4x6
Rear: Alpine type R 6 1/2
Sub: 2 Alpine 10" type E
Amp: Alpine Class D mono amp
Wiring: Rockford Fosgate 4 gauge wiring kit

Unfortunately I work at Best Buy so i got it all on discount but without that it would be around $1100.
The NX series cars are awesome for sound..... no bass outside the car unless t-tops are off and windows are down b/c its like a dome.

That's good to know. Can I ask where you installed everything? I wasn't sure of the best configuration with the hatch.

Sub - Kicker L7 12
Sub amp - Fosgate 800.2

Wiring - 2/0 power, Connection RCAs, speaker wire, distrobution etc.
Sound deadening - Cascade sprayed inner door and matted outer door in the NX

They also have no warranty and a 50/50 chance of receiving blown items. It also takes away from the 'local' shops.

No decent company will warranty an item sold off of ebay either...

another tip.

Wow you guys run some powerful setups... they require much juice. I was always scared to run a big set-up in a sentra. I mean take the nominal wattage that your setupi is drawing, and divide it by 7 basically... and thats how many amps it should draw from the alternator. I was always scared of an alternator taking a dump on me 50 miles from the house. but with that being said....

Headunit - Clarion DXZ665MP

Front- Boston Acoustic S75s

Rear- Boston Acoustic Pro50 Component speakers.

Trunk- Infinity Basslink... 1, not the new and unimproved 2
