Gauge cluster connectors question

this "FPC" crap
..flat printed circuit connector..



I need to isolate the fuel/water/and tach from the meter control unit. any idea how I can go about doing this?

the fpc crap is on the g20 gauge cluster. Im trying to seperate fuel/tach/watertemp so I can easily attach it to the NX

could you not just make an adapter plug to the new cluster, or cut and splice the wires to make it work? i do not know too much about the different clusters, it's just a thought.

then you have to re-pin connectors. I dont think it would work anyway. Most people who have done that, did it- just in case they wanted to switch back to the regular cluster, im going the "point of no return" way, and just trying to make it work, even if it means I can't switch back.
