Getting a new head unit... suggestions?

Hey guys, my cd player has died and i'm getting a new one. I have a mild system with two amps running subs and components, i like to run my mp3 player on an aux in, I don't use a changer, and I don't use any sort of video. I just need a good deck that has a dedicated sub input and crossover, good sound quality, and aux input in the back ( don't want cables hanging out the front...) and a nice, clean look. I've been using a sony cdx-m630 with a flat black face that looks so sick, I'm about to go find a used one on ebay... but if there's something more modern, I'd gladly upgrade. I'd appreciate anyone's input.

As I've stated before, the Eclipse headunits look promising. I just recently bought one on Ebay NIB, for about $300 less than retail, shipped. I'm a kenwood fan, but this Eclipse HU has so many more features, and insane EQ options.

look into pioneer too. I think they have a great combonation of features and are very user friendly with the best blue displays out there.

I've looked into these before, but unless I'm mistaken, there was no way to dim the display, and I hate that nuclear blue glow, it's kinda blinding at night. I'd like something more subtle. If the new JVC's and pioneers have adjustable display brightness, I might be interested.

lmao yea that nuclear light does hurt. something more subtile? look into alpine and kenwood. they usually have black displays with blue lettering. either that or a sony xplod. they have some nice older model xplods that would fit what youre looking for. would you like me to send some links or something?

i have that 1 in my mustang. it has some red and blue lights but the main panel is black with blue lights. its not bright so that would work fine for you. do your research first ***.
