Has anyone changed there guage cluster?

I have an 01 sentra se and the speedometer is broken if i were to change the whole cluster with a used cluster that has about the same mileage will everything work correctly? Is it just plug and play or will the cars ecu or electronics recoginize the mileage has been changed? Has anyone changed theres before on an 01? Ive done it on my 95 gxe but that was cause i wanted a tach and everything worked out fine but my 01 has an electronic odometer. Let me know..Thanks

Yeh, you have to "legally" bring it in to the dealership, tell em the problem, they will ship it out, it will either be replaced or fixed for a fee, and return to you in about a week er so.

If you can just go to a junkyard and swap one thats close, yes, it will work. Has to be the same year I believe on the B15s though, as there were a few changes done on the wiring harness. Legal.......probly not.
