Cleaned my motor now i have an electrical problem HELP

ok..Just bought my 01 SE and i decided to degrease the motor using some spray can(forgot the name) then i hosed the engine off using a garden hose and then i turned the car on about 20 mins after i know that was my mistake. So when i went to start the car it cranked but it wouldnt start and while i was doing it all i heard were relays clicking like crazy by the glove box. Needless to say i waited a little longer and same thing tried this about 4-5 times w/ no luck. I tried again like 5 hrs later and it started but it staled first then it started ran it for like 15 mins w/no problem except that the car almost stalled but it corrected itself it did that like twice. I started the car the next day it stalled while iwas warming it up and then it did the same thing were the idle dropped to like 500 rpms and then it corrected itself (BTW when i say dropped this happens instantaneously) drove the car 1/2 hr no problem. Next day start the car up same prob. stalls once or twice same prob. w/ the idle once or twice then it was fine drove it a little bit and then went to get gas turned the car off and after fueling was unable to start it. The car just cranks no spark but what i noticed is when i put the iginition in the forward position the SES light does not light up that means im not getting a signal to the ECU. My mech. scans a code and comes up as the EVAP solenoid which is insignificant. Now if i wait an hour or so after the car dies i get SES light to up when i put the ignition forward if this light light up that means im getting a signal and the car starts up. Now after it starts up it dies after 5 minutes or so of running and then i have to wait another hr. or so. All i here is a relay click by the glovebox and then it dies and i have no SES light for like an hour. I thought i might had water somewhere still but keep in mind this happen Thursday and today is WED. i pulled all connections that would come apart took off the cap and rotor, spark plug wires and sprayed almost everything under the hood i could think of with electrical contact cleaner and let it air out for like 9 hrs and just came home and reconnected everything and samething happend car starts runs for 5 mins or so stalls and unable to get the SES light to come on for about an hour or so. WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE!!
