So I have a 94 Sentra GA and Cyl. 3 and 4 injectors aren't receiving a signal. I recently did a port and polish job on it and put all back together and it ran fine. Then I tried to put a b14 Maf on it and drove it around for a few miles before I decided it didn't run well enough to keep on. AS I was pulling into my driveway it started to misfire. So I put the b13 maf back and cranked it still misfiring. Checked plugs and wires was getting spark so i unhooked the injectors one at a time nothing changed when I unplugged 3 & 4 so I swapped them with 1 & 2 to see if it was the injector and the misfire still happened on 3 4. I think i might have a cut wire somewhere and was wondering if instead of finding it could i just rewire the injectors straight from the ecu and if so would i need to put any resistors in. Also I was thinking that it might be my camshaft position sensor that had something blocking the slits for 3 4 so the ecu wasnt sending a signal at all. Just wondering if any one else has ever had a problem like this. I appreciate any input. Thanks
Thanks for the links but what I was really wondering was if I could just hard wire my injectors straight from my ecu and in so doing would I need to put any resistors in as I don't want to blow my injectors. I read somewhere in another post about putting a resistor when wiring injectors and was just wondering if I had to that on stock injectors or not.
