Vehicle Speed Sensor

ok so i figured out my other question so here we go. for the gps to calibrate i need to hook this bad boy into the vss wire. now i found that on the ecu it s pin 26 and the fsm say it pu/r in color. i assume that would be purple/red. but anyway the question was is that where i should do it or does anyone have better idea? thank you pics are always lovely. this is a 99 sentra se-l auto. thanks

do it either at the speedo itself, which may be easier to get to, or the ECU, whatever one you choose.
