electrical issue. please help, i have no clue.

i bought a grounding kit from this forum this link. for my b14 ga16

now i installed it along with my o2 sensor in my cat.

i turned on the car and RADIO DIDNT WORK,A/C DIDNT WORK(BUT LIGHTS DID,ei A/C BUTTON LIGHT AND AIR RECIR. LIGHT AND HAVC LIGHT), POWER WINDOWS DIDNT WORK, LEFT AND RIGHT TURN SIGNALS DIDNT WORK(CORNERS WORK BUT TURN SIGNAL DOESNT),HEADLIGHTS WORK, CLUSTER DOESNT READ RPMS, SPEED, FUEL OR TEMP. (BUT LIGHTS IN CLUSTER WORK.) TURN SIGNAL LIGHTS IN CLUSTER DONT WORK. DOME LIGHT DOESNT WORK, CRUISE CONTROL DOESNT WORK!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF!!!!!!!

i checked all fuses, under dash and in engine bay, ALL GOOD. took off grounging kit and still nothing. o2 sensor is still in but i know it cant be that.

car is drivable.

so is there something i didnt try or something i missed.

Sounds like you blew the fusible link. Don't drive the car, because if it is the fusible link, your alternator isn't charging the battery either.

whats that i have a FSM where can i find that, do you have a pic as a reference?

EL-21 Wiring diagram. NOT the fusible links in the box, the one plugged directly into the red connector at the battery. In the diagram, it's between the battery and the alternator.

ok so the battery fusable link is blown. now should i reinstall the grounding kit then put in a new fusable link or just not bother with the grounding kit.

You must have made a mistake installing the grounding kit. They don't cause problems when installed correctly.

the battery link is broken so ill replace that. and go from there.

except the ga throttle body only has one bolt on there.

I agree with chris, sounds like your fuse link is blown. Honestly, sounds like you like you accidentally touched the "+" terminal by accident while installing the kit. If you wanna play it safe, just disconnect the battery so it won't happen again. Be careful with your alternator ground. Its very close to the "+" output for the alty. You might of blew it from that. Just make sure its not touching

just bought a new fuse and ill be putting it in tomorrow. ran out of time today.

thanks again, ill disconnect the batt. and double check the alternator terminals just in case. ill let you guys know how it went.

everything works

so i checked all my grounds and changed out the fusible link, everything works like it should and i think i did touch both the positive and negative grounds together on the alternator, they were so close.
