Read through these customer reviews:

Seems like a lot of people are not too happy with them. I used some in a B13 a long time ago and was content, but I really didnt know much about car audio back then.

Here is a way to make them really perform though:

Get some Deflex Pads, some Cascade and call it a day. Look up Cascade and look for the deflex pads. I put the 1ft square piece of cascade right behind the speaker on the outside skin, then silicon the pad to the cascade. Then use a bigger sheet around the speaker to cover the holes in the inner part of the door panel. I do this on all of my installs and it makes a big difference.

I would not use them for coaxials, but if you have componets i dont think they would hurt your bass production.

I would not use those. Just a fancy piece of foam. I'd agree with squirlz and use deflex or go with dynamat. You'll get results with those as opposed to something pretty going into your door that don't do $hit.

The door actually acts as an enclosure if you seal it up nice. I good Cascade job can make all the difference, and throw in some deflex pads and you get rid of some of the interference from bouncing waves. I have done countless installs in many cars, some with, and some without the deflex pads or Cascade. You can make a $120 pair of coaxles sound like something far more expensive with some simple tasks.
If the area was too big than i would suggest using some sort of baffle but i would rather make the enclosure more ridged and to the specifications from the manufacture.
