Pulsing Cluster Lights

So I searched and didn’t see anyone else have this issue so I thought I would inquiry to see what people might think. Before I left the light on the left side of my gauge cluster would pulsate at night. It wasn’t going out, but instead getting brighter and going back to normal very fast; and it's only the light on the left side. And this is a fast fluxuation, almost like its vibrating. I noticed it did it not all the time, and it seemed to do it most when it was cold outside and during initial night time startups if it had been sitting for a few hours. At first I thought it was just lose and giggling around some so I took the cluster out and checked and it was in firm. So I replaced it, but it still does this. Anyone have any ideas? I have LEDs in my gauge cluster, but I tried both a stock bulb and a new LED and it still does it. It’s really odd and starts to fade away after I drive for an hour or so.

Any ideas?

For the record I have a B14 with a GTi-R gauge cluster with LEDs. It works perfectly and has been for over 5 years now. This is something that just started happening the past few weeks before I left. And on that note: I am out of country right now and will not be able to look into it till I get back. I just wanted to see what people thought now and try new things when I get back.

Thanks!
