okay so its a little confusing but bear with me. okay.

plug A i think is the fog light switch plug.

plug B i have no clue what it is

so oddly enough the plugs fit each other. well then here we go. with the plugs unplugged. i put the key in ignition and turn the car on. turn the headlights on no cluster lights. they wont come on. so i shut everything off.

okay now i plug that plug in. key is out of the ignition. but when i plug it in all the dash lights come on (like check engine seatbelt oil and what not not the actual gauge lights). as if u turned the key on. okay so key still off i turn the headlights on. dash lights work now (actual gauge lights). okay so with head and dashlights on. i start the car. cluster lights turn off headlights stay on. i turn the headlights off then the cluster lights come on. but with the plug plugged ini shut the motor off. well the car still runs and revs up. untill i unplug the plug then the car will shut off. but it starts and shuts off fine without the plug plugged in. what is "plug B"? it seems plug A is the fog light plug. but when pluged in it causes this mess. i dont get it.

Plug A looks aftermarket.
Socket B looks stock.
Check the wiring diagram colours for the socket.

Well I went in the garage and pulled mine out to look and plug A definitely plugs into the foglight button. Plug B plugs into another harness coming off the main harness were the ecu is. it only has 3 wires on it but has 6 pin outs. The plug it self is either for the hazard lights or rear defrost. But if you look down at the ecu behind the ash tray you should see another connector it plugs into coming off the main harness. Like I said it only has three wires. Hope this helps.

i see the plug you are talking about on the ecu. its too wide to fit in this "plug b". its just strange and i looked in my wiring diagram but i didnt see this plug.
