hey i just my turbo timer in and i got an alarm.. when i turn off the car it stays on *** of the timer, i cant turn on my alarm when its like that, i have to wait till it fully shuts down, how do i make it so i can press the alarm button and when the timer turns off the alarm will go on?
I got the same problem. I'm usually within remote range, so I can still arm the car when I'm walking away. There is a way to do it, but then you might have other problems like the alarm going off.
I have a remote start in my car as well, and if I start the car with the alarm activated, it will go off because of the car vibrating at idle.

What if you program the alarm to passively arm? It may not work ***, since most alarms need you to open and close a door before it will set by itself.
Another solution to try is to hook the alarm's ignition input to an accessory lead (position 1 on the key so just the radio comes on), assuming the turbo timer is just hooked up to the ignition (position 2) to keep the car running. This way when you take the key out (assuming the radio turns off but the car stays running) the alarm thinks the car is off and will let you arm it with the remote. Only problem with doing it this way is that the starter kill feature on the alarm may not work properly. What kind of alarm is in there?
most alarms have an A.W.D.(arm while driving feature) you will have to enable this in your programming feature. It will not only allow you to arm your car while driving but allow you to arm it with the car still running. Just don't try the VRS(vehicle recovery system) this will make the alarm go off once you open the door and shut it again. Its an anti-car-jacking setup. Also it would help when you post if you state your alarm type. I can tell you how to enter programming and adjust with this info. If you don't feel comfortable sharing this info with the masses p.m. me. Serban, you will have to program your shock sensor for a longer window before it sets up, or arms.

this link is for your programming. Unfortunately you do not have the AWD feature on yours. But activate passive and forced passive and that should at least help. You got the base model alarm.

i will double check what model it is when i get home.. *** i remember reading in the manual that i can arm it while inside the car so when im driving and i get jacked it will ride for a littl while and shut off i think, i will let you know later thanks though this thing is a pain in the ass

dooo noooooooot disconect the yellow wire you will lose your ability to activate emergency valet mode and alot of other stuff. simple solution hold down lock for three seconds when the car is running it should lock and arm
