its a pretty bad ass radio, you can make your own EQ settings on Alpine's website, download the file, burn it to a cd, put the cd in the radio and download it to the radio, neat stuff, oh, and it plays mp3s too
Mine is an Alpine 7995. Can't find a pic of it at the moment.
Basically it was their top of the line CD head unit w/ no built in amp. Only 3 sets of pre-outs.
Controls and layout is very much like the new 7894, but all silver face and a lil nicer LCD display.
