wiring adjustable thermostat and fan

i have an sr20det powered 240sx...im trying to wire up an adjustable thermostat i'd like it to only get power when the ignition is turned on. and there is no need for me to have a manual switch if the thermostat is doing its job. i cant seem to get the help i need over at 240sxforum.com. so thanks to anyone who can help me here.

OK man, you need to get a standard 12V/30amp automotive relay from radioshack or somewhere like that. Then, just wire the "ON" wire of your ignition to the relay pin on the relay. Then wire in the 12V and ground to the relay. The 4th wire will go to your fan power wire. Then ground the other wire on the fan to a GOOD chassis ground.
