Pricing on the universal DTEC unit is still up in the air, but it will include the Smart Cable (with integrated microprocessor) and possibly one sensor of your choice. As of this writing, TurboXS will offer a MAP sensor, EGT (with thermal probe) and an rpm pick-up. Other options will be available as they are developed and tested. The first batch of DTECs will coming with a wire-in harness that users can splice with later versions providing vehicle-specific harness that will make installation just a matter of plugging one connector to another

haha thats friggan cool.
only downside is, in order to run more than one gauge, you'd need multiple GBA's, which can get pricey. definately an original idea though
that would be really cool for some of the grudge races where you dont want to have a certain guage chillen out in the open.

No, it will have a smart cable which all the other accessories plug into such as your boost, egt etc....
So buy one GBA and do everything with it.

3 values on one GBA screen would be incredibly difficult to read. if it was set up so you could scroll through them, then def...yeah i'd get it too...just because it'd be useful, and add to my sleeper theme (people see a gameboy on the dashboard, the first word that comes to mind is most definately NOT "threatening"...or "fast". lol
In Starter Package functions, the DTEC is a Data Acquisition System.
You can have your choice of EGT Gauge, Boost Gauge, RPM Gauge, AFR and more. A max of 4 digital/analog inputs + 1 TXS Proprietary connection (UTEC or TUNER). The AFR Gauge will work if you purchase one of our Tuner Products. If used with a RPM input you can log your AFR right next to your RPM for easy tuning and reading.
The separate gauge functions can be viewed this as follows:
Each gauge can be recorded up to 30 seconds, without the use of the TBA memory module. A key feature is that each guage is fully customizable. You can change the text to say whatever you want.
Like this:
The total price of a complete gauge set can be in the $600 range.
The Upgradeability functions of the DTEC will allow it be a Fuel Computer, Boost Controller and more. So for you TURBO owners you can have MAP based Fuel Control (rpm vs. map) rather than (rpm vs. tps). As you probably know part throttle full boost is definitely an issue creating very hi EGT's which leads to detonation. To help with that the Boost Control will offer (tps vs. rpm) mapping much similar to our UTEC boost control. So under low throttle conditions you can keep the boost relatively low until higher throttle positions.
We will also continue give you the ability to have multiple maps for on the fly switching between race gas, pump gas, aggressive pump gas.. the choice will be yours.
These will all be available to you without the additional fee of the starter unit investment. The accessories will be additional of course, but expect the total price of the fuel computer and or boost control addition to very competitive with the current market price of the others. So with the addition of some hardware and a software upgrade package you can have yourself a very adaptable engine management package.
As a fellow NISSAN owner I just wanted to bring this to some of you guys attention to take a look at it and give me some feedback.
If you priced an equivalent gauge set, DEFI's or Greddy's with a playback feature the DTEC is well bellow the cost of those. Also the advantage is that the DTEC will have additional accessories that allow it to become a Boost controller, Ignition Timing Controller and a Fuel computer.
I think the price will be right and you get the support that you will need when that time comes. I plan on getting mine as soon as the fuel computer is out and I will ditch the emanage.

Bringing this back from the DEAD. Can the DTEC BC Pro be used in conjunction with the WOLF Turbo B14 ECU program? To adjust any fuel, wastegate and map issues?
