quick question

i know that the air/fuel ratio guage isnt all the accurate... but is it accurate ENOUGH to actually tell you if your running lean or rich, *** thats all i need to know, if im either lean or rich, i dont want exact numbers and all, i would get the egt but i dont want to drill in my manifold.. but i thought well maybe that air/fuel ratio gauge is accurate enough to tell me hey your rich, or hey your lean... or is it completely off and if it says im running rich and im actually running lean

its partially accurate its not gonna say your rich when your lean.....if it did that you think anyone would have one?
