Please don't hate me *** I'm stoopid... or just plain ignorant. But... I went to the SERCA site, only had the '04 info on there, serca.org, se-r.org. Got the information on the track day hotel for a place to stay Thursday night.

Yep, I know the information is probably somewhere here... maybe I'm just looking too hard.

Need: Convention cost, send money where or to whom?, hotel information for the 2nd and 3rd, raffle tickets this year?, how much t-shirts will cost? and etc....

I just want a final cost of participating in the Convention... links would be nice for this old fool. Not caring about the extra costs(food, gas, presents). I've budgeted $700 to $800 to participate. If it's less or much less than that, that'll give me some extra money to maybe finish another project or two before the convention.

Again, if this information has already been posted in one place, I'm sorry I missed it and can't find it. It must be one of my stupid days allotted for this month(well, I've pretty much burned through April of '10).

Peace,
Mark

The Hotel for the 2nd and 3rd..

Embassy Suites Hotel Austin-North
5901 North IH-35
Austin, Texas 78723

1-800-EMBASSY (make sure you have the above address with you when you call, as there are three Embassy Suites in Austin)

@ $99/night SERCA rate.
Double beds, non smoking, up to four per suite.

I'd like to know myself if there is some other kind of "sign up" we have to do..I have my hotel reservations, but I don't know what I have to do to sign up for the track event.

Thanks, Matt, thanks, Bruce. At least I know I only missed the hotel information. Will sign up for both hotels tomorrow morning, would do it tonight, but my sad ass is too tired to go out to the car and get my credit card... boo hoo.

Thanks again,

Mark

All righty, then! Got my reservations for Manor House on 3/31 Thursday and at Embassy Suites Austin-North for 4/1, Fri and 4/2, Sat all done.

Now, to go to AAA website, tonight, and map out the drive... and the rest stops for calf massages, got not cruise control.

Ready to sign up for the track event, especially since I've reserved a room and for the Convention. Then to buy raffle tickets and t-shirts.

Peace,
Mark

Here ya go Mark: http://www.sr20forum.com/mechanical-oem-part-outs/102943-92-se-r-cruise-control-stuff.html

With George's write up, it shouldn't take more than a few hours to install. I think it took me about 2 hours, and it was well worth it.

I'm getting a bit antsy. Checked the SERCA site again this morning... did not see a sign up for the 2005 Convention. Also, do we pay for the track event through the same SERCA site?

Got credit card in hand, wife's mouth duck taped... "Now, that raht thar is funny". If I can't get everything paid this week, I may have to bail on the convention... got enough last minute things I have to do in my "normal" life without having to add to it. I've already got the requested time off work and I'd really like to do this, since we weren't able to make it to California last year.

Seriously, I'm not trying to be too much of a prick... am I?

Peace,
Mark

Track has already been set at $140/$125. I just heard back on catering and it looks like $8.50 per head. T-shirts are still not set but should be about 10 bucks.

Hey, Bruce, I've sent payment to the treasurer@serca.org. Please let me know that I've sent the appropriate amount of funds. I keep thinking that there's something I'm missing.

This was for the track event, picnic, raffle tickets, and a handful of shirts.

Peace,
Mark
