SERCA 2005 Convention Roommate thread...

Okee dokee, I just reserved rooms for the weekend of the SERCA event and looking to see if anyone wants to help out and split the bill. Right now, its just me and Marla in the rooms, so theres space if anyone needs it and willing to help out with the cost. I also posted this on G20.net.

One suite, non-smoking, two double beds, plus tons of room on the floor and a couch nomally. If you want to crash in the room just help out a bit with the room rate ($99 night)

Hey Pat, I need some roomates this year. I just talked to another guy tonight (Allen, friends with John Abott) who needs a roommate too. You, Marla, me, and him would make 4 if that's cool with you.

Yeah thats cool, One of the G20 guys *might* be staying with us too. Dont know if hes definate on it ***, but hed be there on the track day too, you guys gonna make it to the track?

Either way, 5 is still comfortable.

I'll be at the track, not 100% sure about the other guy, but I think he'll be there too. But anyway, the 2 of us are definites for fri and sat night, and I'm pretty sure thurs night as well. I know I am atleast.

Email me your phone # so I can stay in touch with you when I actually head out there. I'll call that other guy tomm to see if he's going to the track.

Hi, I'm the guy Torry was referring to. I'll be coming to Texas on Thursday with Big John and Danny (Turbo Miata). John's room is full so being a last minute addition I am looking for a room. Torry, if you need any info from me or have made other arrangements please let me know.

Nah, don't need anything from you. I got your number. I was gonna call you today and tell you I found some other roomates to fill the room but I guess you found that out for yourself

the one close to the track would probably be 4 max, but I don't think ebassy suites would even check the # in each room.....

Why try to ruin the deal we have with Embassy? After fireworks being thrown in the lobby, I'm surprised they let us back.

They did check up on our Dallas stay. I guess we were restrained that year what with the tornados and all.

If you are thinking of splitting a room, reserve one for yourself and then use this thread to get roomies.
That is unless you REALLY love your car.

I had planned on leaving Wed night at about 11pm. I'm willing to modify those plans though if you want to follow me out there. I need to leave by no later than about 5am on Thursday though. I got to do some brake work thurs night before the track. Looks like it's about a 15 hr drive.

I planned on traveling down 85 to I10 or 20 - 59 - to I10.
They both are almost the same.

i will be there thursday and stay the whole time, but Justin ditched out on me this year, so i will be roommate less, SOMEONE TAKE ME IN!!! otherwise ill be sleeping in the back of my truck.
