Just a heads up, there is construction all around 35 with part of 35E blocked off a little south of dallas. So if everyone is going straight to college station then I would take 45 out of dallas.
what about 35W?

That stuff on I-35 is easy to get around. I deal with all the time. We'll just take SH 342 down to HW 77 to I-35 around the whole mess. I know these roads around here like the back of my hand. We'll see if ya can keep up with the truck *** the car won't be done

some people might want to take 45 to 6 to CS, some like 35 to 6 to CS, it is a tough call, both are about the same distance, plus if you take 35 you get to see the branch davidian compound on the way down 45 might be a little quicker (75 turns into 45 just south of downtown Dallas)

Well, im in NM actually, but driving down to Dallas wednesday to spend the night with an old college buddy. I spent 8 years down there so I know my way around quite a bit.

Accross the street from the North Park Mall (I-75 and NW Highway) is a Container Store/Cheesecake Factory/ and other stuff. Really easy to get on/off from 75. Not too far from downtown either.

Place to meet is up to you guys, but this is really easy to find. Im down for meeting you guys there if you want.

If I were going from I-45, wouldn't I take highway 21 into CS?? Looking at the map, Highway 6 doesn't intersect well with I-45 coming from the North..

we'll be coming in from I35, that's a little out of the way. But I will be getting on I-45 and heading to Highway 21 to get to CS, I think that's going to be the best way to get there..

see the bottom of post #1 in this thread for cell phone numbers, and post or PM me yours, and I'll add it to the list..

we're still undecided on where we're going to meet, but there's a Walmart at Beltline and I-35 that James Vick was suggesting, but it looks like I-45 to 21 might be an easier route, and we wouldn't hit I-35 and beltline...
but we have a week to figure it out..

my cell is 214.455.3200

I-35 is easy for me, or I can go east crosstown and we can meet at Courtesy Nissan on I-75

35 and 75 both head south into downtown - 35 come in from the west side and 75 on the east side - but they both converge downtown, so either one can get you to 45. I'm open!
