Very much agreed. I don't think I ever saw or heard that car on the track. I didn't have much time to watch other groups. BTW, it was good to meet you, Matt.

Give me a nickel and I'd do it again, Pat.

Please tell me you JB Welded that lovely short shifter of yours, in order to get back to New Mexico... ?

Just take Marla off of the Steroids and you should be fine.

I know noooooottttthing!

The shifter was fine when I gave back the car, Pat.

Really. It was. I swear.

Sure, the G didn't like that one time I went into first gear coming down off the main straightaway at 115mph, but hey, it eventually gave in to my demands.

In all seriousness....if you CNC a titanium short shifter I will lay down cash for the second one out of the machine. That would just be the coolest thing ever.

Well, I was only at the track through the 2nd session and had to leave. Two of my best friends were marrying each other in houston and I had a wedding rehersal dinner to attend that evening and wedding the next. I did make it to the picnic as evidenced by my dirty and closed hooded car. Gotta stay under the radar I don't think anyone took an intentional pic of my car at the picnic! hahaha

Justin now has my in-car vids so whenever he gets around to putting them up.

Yeah, I'm not sure whether to put in a resonator or not, maybe it won't sound like an open header honda then.

Good to meet you!

Part Three:

It helps if you hum the theme from "Jaws".

The Malebutay had the tape rearranged on Saturday night.

Finally..... Khiem's car!

Matt Ostlund (panx2k&ser or something like that) wandering around the pits at TWS. Geo shot this pic with my camera while I chowed on a BBQ sandwich.

Rick's all black Spec V on track.

Shell's incredibly nice Classic. I didn't get to meet Shell, but his car is absolutely gorgeous.

Spec V wins! Spec V wins! Spec V wins! A pan-blur using my small camera, shot from the flag stand at the start/finish line.

Somebody actually bought a forum sticker? Sweet.

Thomas Reynolds' kid. Aw, how cute. The kid was watching Matt O's NX get a new clutch while chewing on mama's sunglasses.

The Malebutay never got any closer than this to Jason S's VVL-powered track slut Classic, that's for sure.

man, looks like everyone had a blast!!! I live in Dallas and I couldn't even go! because I go to school in Rochester, NY. YAY!!! Someone should have driven to my house in Plano and just stole my Classic and taken it to the convention. She's been neglected for almost two years now...

Hey, shouldn't some of the rental cars' plates be covered, for, you know, in case of repurcutions? (is that how you speLliT?)
