Hoosier tire sale (GAC R3S03 compound)

Just a thought for anyone doing lapping events that do not require a DOT approved tire. Hoosier is currently getting rid of their GAC (Grand American Cup) Hoosier R3S03 compound tires. You can use this link or go directly to the Hoosier website to find the discontinued tires section.

These are similiar to the R3S03, but have been improved to be more of an endurance tire... hopefully they will last as long as a shaved Toyo RA-1

Oh yeah, I just got (4) 205/50/15 tires for $412 +S/H this morning

You posted this on Jan 10th 2005, but the site was updated saying they were sold out on Nov. 29th 2004...how did you get these tires so cheap? I'm in the market for 225/50/14 R3S03's and was all excited when I saw your price.

Am I missing something?

The link has changed from when I originally posted it. Once you are on the Hoosier website you will see a link on the upper left-hand side that says discontinued tires. I just checked and they only have a few sized left in 17's and 18's.
