How do all of you IT guys have your battery disconnect switches wired? I just swapped out for a Moroso 4-pole, and if I were to wire it like their wiring schematic shows, it wouldn't cut off current generated from the alternator. Just looking for some advice. Thanks!
I have the Longacre 4 pole and my battery relocated to the trunk. I just cut the positive line to the battery and stuck the switch in-line. On the alternator side- one of the poles goes to the positive post on the alternator and the other pole is connected to the line that used to bolt on the alternator.
