STS or STX?

I just picked up a 91 SE-R, mainly for auto-x. I was expecting to run STX because of the limited slip (which is why i bought it in the first place), but I'm reading that factory viscous coupling units are allowed in STS. What type of LSD is in there? I read in another post that the b15 can't run STS, but what about the b13?

Your car will be fine for STS. The B13 SE-R's are equipped with a viscous LSD.

Yeah what he said. Or you could throw an aftermarket LSD in it and run STX. I hear Nismo makes a good one. So did Quaiffe.

B-15s have a helical diff like the ITR (which is in STX) and the Subie RS's with the rear LSD.

stay in STS the stock unit works fine.

and Quaiffe no longer makes a diff for the SR.

To be perfectly clear, ONLY the Spec-V is disallowed in STS.

All other B15s (including the 2.0) are legal in STS.
