GS B13's - How many runs out of Victoracers?

Before they start to go away. I only get about 70 on my T/A, but the weight is hard on tires.

195s? I would get about the same, 70-80 runs. With no camber and a loot of body roll, you wear off the shoulder before anything else.

Tips and hearsay from a local autocrosser for wringing a few more runs out of our silly FWD strut suspension:

- Run the allowed aftermarket front swaybar. People give away the Suspension Techniques pieces, so you're not breaking the bank. More understeer, less roll.
- Run a 195/55-14 instead of a 205/55-14. Supposedly a too-wide tire on a narrow rim, like the stock 5.5's, will worsen the positive cambering effect. I don't know the tech, I just listen.
- Flip tires halfway through life, and chew up the other shoulder. Don't bother with the price of balancing or wheel weights.

One of my own:

- Get out of stock. Get some camber and swaybars!

I never got good wear out of tires when I was stock. I only did ~ 8 local events and 2 Prosolos and went through 2 compelte sets.

Now I'm in STS with camber and suspension and haven't bought tires since 2002

Thanks. I have not decided if I am going to run the NX or T/A this year.

Did you ship my XP's for the T/A yet Matt
