Original for sale thread here on this forum, various PM's etc have yielded lots of promising, but no actual parts! I sent a MO in early Oct, then the parts finally got shipped, no proof, but stated that they were shipped on 11/15. I still don't have the parts, nor the shipping receipt with tracking number, nor my money back!
Today, was the last day I was going to give you to figure all this out! So, get me a valid shipping/tracking number and I'll be happy to just close this thread down, until then, it will get worse! Just honor your end, that is all I ask--
Oh, I will!! He had good payment history, so I figured it was a safe-ish transaction, but I am wondering now what has happened??!?? I can't even shake a tracking slip out, to find out where the package is.
Since I haven't gotten any response since last night, I've decided to fill out and file a mail fraud form, which will be posted to USPS on Friday if I don't have a valid shipping receipt. I will also be contacting the Vero Beach PD, and see if they have an internet crime task force. If anyone local to that area can vouch for this person, help him out, he's obviously not following through on his own volition, so give him a little nudge! Oh, and don't send this character any more of your hard earned money, unless you just want to see it disappear!

So, I'm giving up on the parts and the money, and will just start the legal actions. He is only 16, isn't there a rule against minors on web-forums, esepcially ones that are thieves??

OH, and stop driving around in your car without insurance and registration, that will really get into some serious trouble if the cops catch you, and no, you won't have street cred, you'll just be a retard with a felony record!!

It's stupid and irresponsible to be driving without these two items. I've been hit by a driver with no insurance and I got got stuck with a $700 repair bill
I sent him $150 via PayPal on 10/16 for an iPod. It was 'shipped' via on 10/24, USPS Cert. Mail, Signature required.
Same story as you John. Lots of PM's, but no tracking number.
On 11/19 he agreed to send me a refund via Postal Money Order.
After I PM'd him for an update on 11/24 he replied that he had "just sent it 20 minutes ago".
I PM'd him again last night, and he logged on later with no reply. He was also logged on this morning and didn't reply to me.
To this day I have no iPod, and no Money Order.
I just filed a complaint with PayPal and will escalate it to the Post Office and beyond if necessary.
I didn't want it to come to this, because he's been very nice to deal with, and seems like a good guy but there's too much going wrong here, and now that I see you're having issues with him as well, I feel that I need to escalate it.

whoa when did this start. Ok my mother and my car has nothing to do with this. yes my car is registerd and insured dont know why she would say otherwise. Probably because my father takes care of that. Yes i am 16 and i enjoy the forum. it is very helpful. I am sorry that i have not been able to fufill your request for the tracking number. I am in school and many other things that take up alot of my time and most of the time i am out of the house. I come home to sleep eat then leave. Im not asking you to sympathize with me. John i will send you a refund of your money. It was 85 dollars And i will send it postal money order. John i sent your parts over a week ago. I dont know why you havent recived them yet. I will send you the refund because i dont like trouble. and when you get your parts keep them too because i have no use for them. sorry for the hassle man I will try and get it out by wednesday. In regard to my refund... you told me you mailed it on 11/24. Since it was a Postal MO, all you have to do is go back to the PO and have them cancel it. Then re-send it to me. At this point though, I don't want you to send another MO via USPS because of the fact that I'm 0 for 2 with them on shipments from you.
I just got off the phone with Ray, and he was pulling up to his house to go and look for my tracking number. I told him I want the parts or the money back, the parts I paid for, if I get them, no problem, keep the money, I paid for them, and that is the deal. If I get NO parts, then I want my money back! Simple! I'll wait to see what happens--
Well, I guess anyone who has dealt with this kid can just go ahead and file for mail fraud. I talked to him the other day, and not a lick of communication from him since--no PM's, emails, phone calls, nothing! I guess basic lesson--pay everything with Paypal, even if they need the 3%, it could save you a bunch if you are going to get ripped off otherwise! Also, be ready to pursue your seller, no matter how silly it seems, guys like this don't deserve our business, so keep them honest by making them pay if they continue to rip people off. I thought I was probably alone, but after I posted Chris posted as well--now I know where he got the $230 for the BOV he couldn't hook up! Good luck to anyone involved in this--and Ray, Giovanni, who ever else uses the Lifein10secs forum name--be looking out for some legal forms coming from the PO, I hear they are really mean, and will pursue anything, no matter how trivial. I'd imagine several complaints about the same guy will definitely get their attention!
The Vero Beach PD provided me with this link, which anyone else should be able to use to file against similar activities should they be ripped off! http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/
I hope between this, the PO and the locals, this will get handled, as "life" is clearly not capable of mailing a simple letter!

I've been digging, his family has quite a record! You can find all kinds of things in the public records of your local county courthouse!! No real surprise with this, just a shame it got several of our members! How can we be sure he doesn't just rejoin as "lifein12secs" or some other whacky crap?
